The mixing silo, also known as a homogenizing silo, utilizes the natural gravitational flow of materials within a structured silo to achieve thorough blending and homogenization. This process relies on the potential energy of stored materials flowing through strategically designed internal channels and mixing elements.
The bulk-solids mixing system consists of two main components: the silo body for material storage, and the internal mixing components that extract material from multiple layers and guide it toward the homogenization chamber at the bottom. As material flows downward under gravity, it undergoes repeated redistribution and blending, ensuring uniformity across the batch.
| Capacity | Applicable Material | Silo Material |
| 5-1200m³ | Powder: UHMWPE, aramid, chlorothalonil, catalyst, etc. Granule: PP, PE, POE, POM, ABS, EVA, PS, PA, PLA, PBAT, etc. |
Stainless steel/carbon steel/ aluminum magnesium alloy |
Gravity Blender are commonly integrated into bulk-solids handling systems across a range of industries to blend different material types efficiently. They are particularly effective in operations involving large-volume powders or granules that require uniformity before downstream processing or packaging.
