Types of Weighing System
Gain-in-Weight System

A gain-in-weight system determines material quantity by measuring the increase in weight as materials are added to the weigh hopper. It is widely used in both batch and continuous feed applications where precise control over incoming material is required.

Loss-In-Weight System

A loss-in-weight system calculates flow rate based on the reduction in material weight during discharge. It is typically used for dynamic feeding, where materials are continuously fed out of the hopper until a target threshold is reached, at which point the system is refilled.
